Wild Mountain Elopement in Iceland

When Shelbi and Shawn decided to get married, they already knew exactly where. Iceland was the first place they had ever traveled together, where he proposed, and where she once stood at the base of Skógafoss waterfall and said, “We’ll get married here.” Their wedding day delivered on every part of that promise: a first look in a blooming lupin field, a traditional pagan ceremony on a secluded black sand beach led by an Ásatrú priest, two wedding dresses, one all-black suit with Vans, and a full-circle return to that same waterfall at the end of the night.
